THE HARRIS FAMILY
In 2023 the opportunity to manage the Double D Bar Ranch presented itself. This is where they began their journey into regenerative agriculture and have put all of their energy and focus on producing pasture raised meats and selling it into our communities direct-to-consumer.
They continue raising their growing family in Melba where they remain passionate about being good stewards to the land, raising their boys outside, giving back to their community, and leaving the land better than they found it.

There's a lot of truth to the saying "You are what you eat". Just as we are what we eat, we believe our plants and animals are what they eat. Which is why our main focuses are on the overall health of our soil, land, and microecosystem. If we're healthy in these areas; we believe the nutritional content in the plants we grow and the livestock we raise will translate into our overall health and vibrance.
We grow a diverse population of plants for our livestock to forage on. From cover crops to lush grass mixes; they have a buffet of quality forage to pasture on throughout the year, and the flavor is reflected in this. Even during the winter months, when nature's gone dormant, we continue to provide them with a wholesome diet sourced from our carefully stored forage, grown on the farms we manage. This commitment to a natural and varied diet not only enhances the flavor but also contributes to the overall well-being of our animals.

To preserve the exceptional quality of our meat, we package each cut in premium high mil ply films. These films not only prevent punctures and leaks but also lock in the freshness and flavor, delivering a dining experience that exceeds expectations.
